I have wierd problem with my Archer VR1600 that I'm hoping there's a solution for.

I'm using a combination of LAN connected and WIFI devices on the router. The main issue is with the LAN connections.

WAN - Connected to TPG 100Mbs NBN

LAN1 - Connected to TP-Link Powerline 600Mb Adapter

LAN2 - Connected to Windows 10 PC/Gigabyte LAN Port - Sharing a 3TB WD USB3 Hard Drive

LAN3 - Connected to 10/100 Switch (currently switched off)

LAN3 - DLink NAS Box

I get a huge drop in internet speed when I'm transferring large files from the PC's shared WD drive across the Powerline network. eg. Installing a game that has the installation files on the WD. Is there a setting to balance the load on the LAN ports between data and internet needs? I figured since the TPG connection can only do about 90mbs max, the rest of the gigabit bandwidth should be available to send data via the Powerline to the rest of the network and shouldn't really affect the internet speed. The PC I'm using goes to crawl while the game is installing on the other computer. The PC is a decent i7 10th gen with 32GB ram, so it shouldn't be an issue with CPU performance, I don't think. I wouild connect the WD directly to the USB modem, but since it's only a USB2 port so is rather slow and I don't think it recognises more than 2GB anyway.

Any ideas welcomed.
