Using the RE200 range extender (V1, with updated firmware) - I am trying to set it up with my laptop. During the last step of setting up, it goes to "Restart" and a percentage goes from 0% to a 100%. However, my problem is that it stays at 100% with the text "Restarting..." above it, instead of saying "Complete". The LEDs also show that neither the 2.4G or 5G connection is completed, so my wifi repeater stays disconnected to my WiFi network.

 

See below what my TP link says, vs the manual showing "Completed!" at 100%. I've been waiting for half an hour or so..

Did it work with the router before?

There are some suggestions for your reference:

1. please go to wireless>connect to the existing network and start the setup here.

2. make sure the password is correct.

3. hardware reset by pressing the reset pin for 10s once.

 

If nothing changed, you might start checking whether it is still under warranty.
