Model: Archer AX23   Archer AX10
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.5 Build 20220216 Rel. 60801(5553)

Hello,
I have Claro fiber internet, from the Claro router I have 3 LAN ports wired to different parts of the house, on the other hand I have 2 Archer AX23 routers and an Archer AX10 router that I want to connect to those wired ports.
What is the best way to do this?
Do I connect the cables to the WAN ports of each WIFI router, to the LAN port? And what mode do you recommend, Access Point, WIFI Router?

The idea is that each router has the same SSID and that they work in Mesh mode.

Thank you

Hey

To use these with your new router you would need to switch the AX10 / AX23 to Access Point mode as you want the claro router to be your "main router".   When it access point mode the AX10 / 23 will just forward WiFi to the clara and it should work fine.   Connect cables to the WAN ports on the AX10/23

However...  in terms of MESH, sorry that isnt possible.    Mesh is the ability for the 3x APs to talk and hand over the connection between themselves, really working as one big unit.   These devices however will not do that, they will operate as 3x individual devices and therefore when you move from one to another, it either..

1. wont move you across, instead holding on to the old AP until grim death

2. disconnect you from the old AP (once signal is dead) and reconnect you to the new AP, but its not a clean move.. will stop your video / calls etc while doing it.

Sadly the AX10/23 only support OneMesh, which means they can act as a main base station for the OneMesh Plugs and Extenders, but cannot Mesh themselves together.   To have a mesh network with this hardware you would need to

  1. Keep just 1 of the routers (AX23 for example)
  2. Enable OneMesh
  3. Buy 2x OneMesh Extender plugs and link them to the AX23 via OneMesh.
