Hello @MaJaX and anyone who may experience an internet dropping issue when connecting the Archer AX55 to the network.

It's recommended to check the solution we provided in the following thread and confirm if it fixes the internet dropping issue on the Archer AX55:

[Solution] Archer AX55 internet keeps dropping

If the solution doesn't help, please go through the troubleshooting suggestions in the following thread, then report to the support engineers via email for further follow-up:

Hi,

I am not sure if I understand you correctly. Do you mean your connection to the Internet worked fine initially, but as soon as you try to use custom DNS servers like Google or Cloudflare your Internet connection stops working?

If that is the case, then maybe your Internet Service Provider is blocking them for some reason.

Can you test what happens if you try to ping their IP addresses?

e.g.

ping 8.8.8.8

ping 1.1.1.1

Ok, I understand.

Does the "Internet" LED (third from the right) light up and if it does, in which color (orange or green/blue)?

  @MaJaX

If the Internet LED on the AX3000 is green, then it should have a working Internet connection.

Have you tried to connect different client devices (e.g. computer, phone, tablet) to the AX3000 and none of the devices can access the Internet?

Do your clients show up properly when you click the "Clients" icon in the Network Map, similar to the picture below?

  @MaJaX

Please test what response you get if you ping a server on the Internet directly from your AX3000 router. You can do that from the router's configuration GUI if you click on "Advanced" -> "System" -> "Diagnostics". Just enter any website's address you can think of, like "www.tp-link.com".

Furthermore, can you please post all the status information for "Internet" and "LAN" that can be found under "Advanced" -> "Network" -> "Status". (you can blank out the MAC addresses if you wish)

  @MaJaX

As you can see from the ping command, the router itself connects to the Internet just fine. It was also able to get the IP address for www.tp-link.com from the DNS server.

All the information in the screenshots you posted is good.

I can't see why your client devices still can't connect to the Internet. Maybe a "Factory Default Restore" would be a last resort you could try.

By the way, as a side note, when configuring the DHCP server settings it is best to leave the optional fields blank (circled red in below screenshot), unless there is a special need. Entering the wrong things in those fields can also screw up the connection of the client devices.
