Hi, this concerns the ax50, but really the Tether Android app. Icons (once changed) cannot be set back to default.
Any ideas ?

Please go through this guide to change the device icon on the Tether app once again, then confirm whether there is any error message if it still fails.
Be sure the Tether Android app version is up-to-date, which is 3.8.21.
If possible, please try to change the device icon on another phone, such as an iPhone, then observe if you can change the icon successfully.

Now on my second android and the problem still exists.
