I have recently switched to Virgin Business and their Hitron router.

 

After switching to Modem only mode (by updating the Gateway Functions) and plugging into the Deco, the Deco does not receive an internet connection.  I have then tried to plug Hitron directly to laptop and it connects and has access to the internet.

 

I plug my old hub back into the Deco and it works.

 

Do I need to do anything with the Deco for it to accept the new modem connection?

--Do you choose "Dynamic IP" on the Deco when it is connected to Hitron's new router?

If yes, you could refer to this link to clone the MAC address of the PC on the Deco to see whether it helped:
