Model: Archer AX1800
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 2.1.5

My AX1800 works great except after a power outage or ISP outage.

When the power is restored to the router it will no longer work and I can't even access the router's webui via a wired connection.

Everytime I end up having to hit the factory reset pin hole with a paper clip and going thru the complete router setup.

In addition if my ISP router  ceases to provide an IP address to my router, then the router enters this zombie l(similar to the state after a power outage).

My firmware is current.

I've never had another brand of router behave this way. I actually thought my ax1800 had failed when it first happened.

I now know how to get my router working again but it's a bit of a pain to have to do a complete setup every time.

Hello @wlierses

This issue sounds weird. How about the LED status on the AX1800 after the power is restored? Is the internet LED orange or green? How about other LEDs?

Can I also confirm who your ISP is? When did you purchase the AX1800 and when did the issue start to happen?

When the issue happens next time, please help confirm if the devices that connect to the AX1800 still get valid IP addresses from the router, try to ping the gateway and show us the result, thank you.
