Buenas tardes,

Tras una primera buena experiencia con un extensor WiFi, he decidido comprar un segundo extensor de WiFi de la marca tp-link.

Mi actual casa es bastante grande, y con el primer extensor conseguí extender la red WiFi del router. Con el segundo extensor, querríamos extender la red WiFi del primer extensor, ya que hay rincones de la casa sin red WiFi.

Llevé a cabo la instalación sin problemas a través de la App Tether, pero no consigo conectar este segundo repetidor al WiFi del primer repetidor.

Dicho repetidor se encuentra conectado y localizable desde la red wifi pero no tiene wifi. Hay algo que deba hacer de manera especial?

Welcome to the community.

Is there any chance that you could put the main router in the middle, then connect both extenders to the router to avoid the "Router---RE1----RE2" topology?

If not, it is suggested to set up separate SSIDs on the main router and extender #1 so that extender #2 is able to figure out which is the correct SSID to connect.

And if the second 850RE is just purchased, you could also have a look at our powerline extenders(if the whole house is under the same electric meter)
