Adress reservation not working
Hello,
I have a problem with the adress reservation on my deco. I followed the procedure on this page : https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/1795/
However, each time an equipment is shutdown and up again, the IP adress changes. For example: I set my computer to 192.168.1.X, and then on the next reboot, it will give the adress 192.16.1.Y...
and by the way, the adress reservation system, after a certain time, shows 192.168.2.X (and no longer 192.168.1.X)... I tried to change it back several times but it keeps coming back...
are the two subjects linked in some way?
what to do to solve this?

Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback.
Can I also have a picture of your LAN IP settings under Deco APP>More>Advanced>LAN IP?
And will you be able to reproduce the same issue on a different device?
I think your case is a little similar to this one:

Wait for your reply.

Thanks you.
Yes it is exactly the same thing. I changed the whole thing to 192.168.5.X and now it is working...
Not very user friendly though, I had to change all my IP settings on my network...
I confirm that it wasn't working for any device.
Best regards

Hi, Thank you for the feedback.
It will be fixed along with a firmware upgrade.
Another suggestion would be to change the subnet mask to 255.255.255.0 instead of 255.255.252.0.
By the way, I am a little curious when the LAN IP is changed to 192.168.5.x/255.255.252.0, what are the IP addresses that you have got from Deco, 192.168.4.1-254, or 192.168.5.1-192.168.7.254?
Wait for your reply.
Best regards.

Yes, I already changed the subnet mask to 255.255.255.0 before hand, so I only got adresses like 192.168.5.X
