I have tried with the tutorials on tplink webpage but when I enter the router settings I dont have the "advanced" tab.

Can I confirm where did you see Archer C50 v4 supports OpenVPN Server? As I can confirm from the user manual, it seems C50 V4 doesn't support any OpenVPN configuration, it only supports VPN passthrough:

If you can not find the Advanced tab on its web interface page, please check if it's working in Access Point mode but not Wireless Router mode. Or you may show us a screenshot of what it looks like and maybe we can confirm.
