Archer MR500 regular internet disconnection
Just bought an AC1200 / Archer MR500 LTE router, and put an EE sim card in it. The router doesn't last 12 hrs before internet disconnects. This has happened every day since I've had the router, which is nearly a week now.
I've tried various settings, nothing seems to work. I've searched the forum, can't find anything of help - but apologies if this has already been covered.
When internet is lost, I can connect to the internal web server on 192.168.1.1 and look at the settings, and get the log file. Looking at the log file around the time when I think I lost internet, I see this message:
2023-04-10 08:08:54 [6] 4G: ERROR: The PS registration state parse error.
No idea what it means.
Some screenshots of it in the failed state:
Can't seem to upload the log file but can paste parts of it in if it would be helpful.
Any help appreciated!

I have noticed that the disconnect is almost exactly every 24 hours.
After doing a bit of digging in the firmware, I saw that the default DHCP lease time is 1440 minutes (24 hours). The max allowed is 2880 minutes so I am going to edit that and see if this changes the disconnect to 48 hours.
If this indeed the case, then we can surmise that the issue with the modem is related to improper IP address assignment after DHCP lease expires.

Is anyone from TP-Link monitoring the forum in order to provide a solution? Should I raise a support ticket instead?

Modem disconnected in the middle of the night about 30 hours after last restart. Issue is unrelated to DHCP lease time.

@KVAD there is a auto reboot in settings
daily/weekly/monthly
you can choose time when daily selected
i solve the issue with daily reboot during the night
sometimes i can see router on line sometimes not but all devices connected are fully functional.

@KarlZ could this be something to do with the ee sim? I can't remember mine being as bad as this with my 3 sim and I'm getting really hacked with this machine

@DonW55 I use this on a canal boat which is often moving. I've since realised after my original post that in certain areas of the UK it remains connected for a long time whilst other areas I have to reboot it ever day. Possibly something to do with when the signal drops down to 3G? Every other device is able to cope with this though - even cheap phones. Don't know why the router would not cope with it.
