  @nse2001uk With the 1.0.4 firmware, I can see that the two PX50 satellites are connected thru PLC+WiFi.  However, it seems that the two satellites use the WiFi connection to communicate with the Main PX50 at the end, and not the PLC.  The result: I still have the very same Internet speed as when I had the old Google Mesh system (WiFi5) less US$300.00.  Any advise will be appreciated.

  @nse2001uk With the latest update, I now see the PLC + WIFI option. However, based on the tests I conducted, it still seems quite intermittent, as the decos are connecting via wifi even when the signal is very weak. It would be important to allow the choice of protocol for each satellite deco.

@EAMT

Unfortunately I ended up selling the PX50s and swapping to X50-poe's. Combining these with the old power line adapters I still had resolved my issues. I think until they add the option to choose the backhaul protocol or improve the algorithm the PX50's just aren't fit for purpose.

  @JoaoRodrigo Yes, it is very frustrating. You purchased a product with the correct specifications and features, and it is not working.  :-(  I friend calle me last night, asking for my opinion for  the product (ready to buy it).  After I told him about this, he decided to wait/look for another solution.  Hope TP-Link can solve this soon.
