I recently purchased a Deco X95.  I am confused with all the sales material.  Is the X95 a WiFi Router or just a WiFi Mesh component.  Assuming it is actually a WiFi Router, then I need a stand alone modem to connect it to the Australian NBN FTTN, and what is the best stand alone modem to connect to the X95 and FTTN connection, which is RJ45.

Hi, A single Deco X95 is a WiFi router, or more precisely, a router and mesh AP combo. If you have more than one pack, you might get a main mesh router+ add-on mesh unit.

For NBN FTTN, a modem router is required but we do not have a bridge or stand-alone fiber modem.

 

I have seen some users get an NBN modem router from ISP directly and ask ISP to set the modem router into bridge/standalone mode.
