Model: Archer C80
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.12.10 Build 230208 Rel.38878n(5553)

Hello

I'm trying to delete an old host from ip & mac binding, binding list. When I click the thrash icon, 'Operation Succeeded' message confirms it and the item dissapears.

But a second later, the same line reappears. I reboot and the hosts is still there.

It could be a bug or there is some related value not allowing that option?

Thanks

Check if you have this IP & MAC address set in Address Reservation table and delete it from there, then try again deleting it from the Binding List table:

If this was helpful click once on the arrow pointing upward. If this solves your issue, click once the star to mark it as a "Recommended Solution".

  @terziyski Hello

Yes, that's when I realized that something didn't work.

If a try to disable de ip reservations, the correct message 'This entry conflicts with an existing entry in IP & MAC Binding.' is shown.

But when click the thrash can to delete it, 'operation succeeded' and the row deleted 'fer-Latitude...'  re appears.

The same problem as in the Binding List..

Try the following - disable ARP Binding:

Delete the problematic record from the Address Reservation table:

Reboot the router, re-enable ARP Binding again and then delete the problematic record from the Binding list table.

If this was helpful click once on the arrow pointing upward. If this solves your issue, click once the star to mark it as a "Recommended Solution".

It's not working... Even with Binding switched off (and restart),  when I try to remove the host from Address Reservation, 'Operation succeeded' and a second later the host re appears..

Anyway, after new restart, the host is still there.

While ARP Binding is turned off, have you tried to disable Address Reservation before deleting it :

If that doesn't work either probably this issue should be addressed by @Kevin_Z.

I'm sure that if you reset the C80 to factory defaults it will resolve this, but that doesn't seem to be reasonable.

It's also interesting to know if you have that issue with this particular device only or any listed in the Address Reservation table.

If this was helpful click once on the arrow pointing upward. If this solves your issue, click once the star to mark it as a "Recommended Solution".

  @terziyski Hi

I tried all, I think. In the dhcp page, If I try disable that host, 'This entry conflicts with an existing entry in IP & MAC Binding.', shows. No matter if IP & Mac binding is enable or not.

I confirm that happens in both old hosts once configured on IP Binding and DHCP IP reservation.

Of course, is not a critical or important issue. There are a lot of local ip addresses to choose from... It's just weird.

Thanks

@Fernando2112

I believe @terziyski has suggested all that I can suggest.

It's weird that those items cannot be deleted from the binding table. I remember some community users reported that they're unable to remove the offline devices from the Parental Control list, that's because those settings are saved in the router memory once configured. But I haven't heard about similar feedback that the IP & MAC Binding devices cannot be removed, I would like to have a specialist to help confirm.

They will contact you with your registered email address later. Please pay attention to your email box for follow-up. Thank you.
