AX6600 disconnects randomly
what would cause tp link ax6600 wifi router to turn red and randomly disconnect? This is not the main one deco. This is the other satellite one from the pair. The red light will go on and it disconnects the computer from the network and VPN, then it will go back to green and it's fine for a while.

Hi, a new firmware has just been released for Deco X90:
Deco X90_V1_1.1.7 Build 20230323
Could you please check if you could detect this firmware?
At the same time, could you please help me check the following details:
1. Can I have a picture of your network topology of the whole Mesh system?
- Or you could send me some pictures of the following page:
2. How often would satellite Deco X90 drop out within one day?
Thank you very much.
best regards.

I see the new FW release and I will install that now. It will drop a few times during the day sometime more. It is mainly effecting one computer, and I have an Ethernet cable being used in that satellite into the laptop.

Hi, Thank you very much for the update.
Since there are also other satellite Decos in the Mesh, did the disconnection happen to the satellite X90 only?
If possible, Could you please help me swap the location of this satellite X90 with other satellite Deco M4 to see whether the disconnection always followed the Deco X90?
And Can I also have a picture of the signal source on the satellite Deco X90?
At the same time, I would like to follow up on your case via email. Please check whether you have got an email from us later.
Thank you very much.
Best regards.

Hi
thanks for the update. I did swap the x90 with one of the other satellites and yesterday there didn't seem to be an issue. When it did happen before there was no disruption to the rest of users and it was just that x90 one impacting. So I think it's definitely something with that unit.
I will see if we have another uninterrupted day today with the new setup but I would like to understand what the issue is since it really shouldn't matter where I place these (outside of the obvious) and who is using them direct connect or otherwise.
thanks
Dabo
