Model: Deco X20
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: not sure

Hi guys, I need help. Yesterday I went and purchased a Deco 2 pack x20 (ax1800) and placed one at back of house (where living room is) and one at front of house. The house is 30m long hence why I needed to get the Decos. Prior to getting these, I have had a TP link Archer 2100 modem router. If I want to make the Decos as the actual router, do I need to make the connection type Bridge or keep in PPPoE mode?

I am having an issue with my eufy cameras as one is outside garage at front of house and one is up back of the house and are both getting weak signals (homebase is half way up hallway). I should be getting full signal from both cameras as they are BOTH metres away from the two decos at either end of the house.

Very new to this mesh stuff so any help would be amazing thanks guys!

  @Braddos

Hi, Welcome to the community.

Archer 2100, do you mean Archer VR2100, the DSL modem router?

Back to the question, yes, it would be better to put Archer VR2100 to bridge mode and set Deco X20 into wireless router mode.

Thank you very much.

Best regards.
