Hi all,

Having some issues when trying to install the drivers for the USB wifi adapter in that it keeps saying i already have drivers installed (im assuming the windows 10 ones) and that i have to uninstall these before i can install the TP-Link ones.

Only issue is im unable to uninstall the windows one (or cant seem to figure out how)- ive tried:

- Deleting the files through the control panels -> programmes

- Uninstalling them through device manager (unable to remove them)

- Manually looking for the drivers in the TP-Link file

- Starting the PC in safe mode and trying to install

Whilst the window drivers allow the device to work- on speed tests im pulling 0.1MBPS so im very keen to get the actual drivers installed.

If anyone can give me some help it would be appreciated.

Thanks

  @MattC23

Hi, Normally Windows could also automatically search for the updated driver from the internet.

Have you tried the following link to manually update the .inf file on the computer:

https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/920/

https://static.tp-link.com/2019/201911/20191129/Driver_RTL_8192EU_TL-WN823N_V2.zip

(V2 and V3 used the same chipset platform and could share the same driver.)

Thank you very much.

Best regards.
