#IP addresses
I have the following problems with a DECO P9:
- Problem 1: Connectivity comes from a LAN network, where the existing router has the IP address 192.168.68.1. When the P9 is connected for the first time, it self-assigns that same address, creating a network conflict. When I try to change its address to for example to 192.168.68.2, the LED turns red and I lose the connection with the unit.
- Problem 2: Once problem 1 is solved, I need the P9 to act as a DHCP server for a WiFi network by giving out IP addresses in another range: 192.168.10.100 to 192.168.10.250, for example, (or any other range even type 10.10.10. X)
In other words, the "WAN" address of the P9 must have an address type 192.168.68. X (but not 192.168.68.1) to be able to connect to the internet. And since the DHCP server of the P9 must assign addresses from 192.168.10.100 to 192.168.10.250 for WiFi, I suppose its "LAN" address (facing the WiFi network) must something like 192.168.10.1
How is this done?
Thanks
