Wondering if anyone has experienced this and whether or not they have found a fix.

 

Router is new and just keeps on restarting every minute or every time I try to connect to it via wifi.

 

Can't setup on Tether app because it doesn't stay connected long enough and can't seem to get rescue mode working to restore/update firmware.

 

To top it all off I have a Mac and need to invite a friend with PC/Ethernet port every time I think I have a fix.

 

Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi, do you mean the Archer AX73 router is in a boot loop now and never stop?

Or it could stay on for long time if no device connects to it, but will restart automatically every time when you connect to its Wi-Fi?

 

Please make sure it is using the original power adapter, or let us know the spec of the power adapter you are using now.

Also try to reset the router to factory defaults by holding reset button until the Power LED blinks to see if it helps.

  @Sunshine thanks for the reply.

 

It's actually both. It's on a boot loop and restarts within a minute of getting 4 lights from left to right. It also restarts if I try to connect to it via wifi.

 

I have power adapter model T090060-2B1.

 

Factory resetting using Reset button did nothing (identical behaviour to the restart loop before restarting again and again).
