Model: ER605 (TL-R605)
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.0

Hi all,

after update Omada Controller to Version: 5.12.2, the 2nd WAN (WAN/LAN1) it seems to be offline, meanwhile the related connection is up & running.

Trying to connect a PC directly to the modem that provide the connection on WAN/LAN1 (obviously using the same IP configuration used for the ER605 interface i.e. 192.168.200.151/24 DG 192.168.200.250), the PC is able to navigate and pinging the 1.1.1.1 ip for check the internet availability.

Previously this WAN/LAN1 was correctly see online.

At the end, disconnecting all WAN except the WAN/LAN1 it's seems the internet connection is correctly used... but it's not be clear if the line working well as backup-line because virtually "Offline" and not available for the system.

My question is anyone has get the same issue and most important if we can assume this is just a visualization state error but not affect the real functionality as well.

D

  @David_LTN

do you have a link backup? if it's backup wan, it is offline. that's normal.

if you don't have a link backup, then it could be a visual bug. but back to the question, isn't v 5.12 pulled off? it has some issues. suggest you roll back to the previous stable version.

  @Tedd404

With backup line I mean a secondary WAN connections to a modem using a different ISP.

UPDATE -

During a primary fault the secondary wan move to Online...and remain correct visible...

May be something in visualization....

  @David_LTN

do you mean that is a visual glitch?

my original question was

if they are backup wans, then it is normal to see them as offline because they are not in active until the failover step in.
