Release Notes
New Feature/Enhancement
1. Added support for the following new features which were added on Omada Controller v5.9.
- Added support for shared bandwidth while using the "SSID Rate Limit" feature.
- Added support for IPv6 ACL/URL Filtering/Guest Network.
- Added support for IPv6 dial-up/Client address acquisition/MLD to unicast.

Select an Omada EAP, set the capture filter, and perform a packet capture for troubleshooting. Omada Controller uses TCP port 29815 to download the packets.
- Added support for Terminal.
Select an Omada device (EAP or Switch), open Terminal, and then you can execute CLI or Shell commands. Omada Controller uses TCP port 29816 to create remote control terminall sessions with the devices.
- Added support for downloading device info.
Omada Controller uses TCP port 29815 to receive the information from the devices. You can download a device's info by opening its Properties window, going to Config > Manage Device, and clicking Download. This feature helps to confirm the operational status of Omada devices and to perform troubleshooting.
- Added support for the "Lock To AP" feature.
Open a client's Properties window, go to Config, enable the function, and select one or multiple EAPs, then the client will be locked to the selected EAPs. This feature helps prevent a static client from roaming frequently between multiple EAPs.

Friends,
Goodnight!
I hope all is well and the products are evolving a lot.
I would like to make a request, as I am about to return from the beta firmware of the EAP670. Unlike the friend above, I'm fine with 2.4GHz devices. Hope we can help you.
I configured the IP in the EAP reservation to .3, but the IP does not change even by decree. I needed to understand what is going on. I think this could be a firmware issue.

Is Omada Controller at version 5.11.8? Did you download it where I can't find it on the TP-Link Brasil website?

Thank you for your valued update and feedback. Glad to hear that you are fine with 2.4GHz devices.
Regarding the EAP reservation issue, have you rebooted the EAP670 to manually release the previous DHCP IP address 192.168.0.250, then check if it will change to 192.168.0.3 as expected?
The Omada Controller v5.11.8 used by @TAW could be downloaded from the following early access post.

For further investigation, please make a supportcase.
You may edit your Wireless Network Advanced Settings on your Controller and check the PMF setting.
If you configured PMF as "Mandatory", please change it to "Capable" or "Disable" for checking.

Nice. I already downloaded and updated the OC to the latest beta.
I took advantage and upgraded again to firmware 2.1.4 of the ER605V2.
I really saw that there is a correct form that I was not used to.
Now the big boy has the correct IP. I'm new to Omada, very grateful for your kindness in replying.
I'm going to redo a blocking test, because with this firmware, even releasing it wasn't allowing the device, although it connects.
I had that IP 169. In Brazil we call it IP pipa.
Thanks guys! This is a very strong community.

I believe I ran into the same issue with my 615wall.
Looking at the status during upgrading, the last visible step was "configuring". Then "heartbeat missed" and now "disconnected".
DISCONNECTED |
Edit: had to reset - re-adopt and now it looks working

One of my EAP610 V2 APs was received with firmware 1.1.1. I tryied updating it to Beta 1.1.3 but it keeps failing saying that the upgrade file is invalid. Do you know what the issue could be? My other two APs upgraded from 1.0.2 to 1.1.3 just fine.

We upgraded the EAP670 to 1.0.11 and noticed that we are unable to negotiate to 2.5G. We even tried using a 2' CAT7 patch cable connected directly to the Netgear switch (MS108EUP). Other devices on the network have no issues negotiating to 2.5G to the same switch.
Please let me know if there are any other test cases. We own three of these devices and all three behave the same way.
