Repeater unterbricht WLAN signal sobald man ein Passwort vergibt

Hallo zusammen,
Ich habe meinen repeater RE365 bereits seit einem Jahr im Einsatz gehabt ohne Problem. Nur wurde die Verbindung versehentlich getrennt und ich muss Ihn neu einrichten. Sobald ich denn Repeater in die Steckdose stecke blinkt die Power LED und ich konnte ihn somit auch per reset Knopf erfolgreich zurücksetzen. Im Anschluss wollte ich über die Tether App den Repeater neu einrichten. Der Repeater gibt auch ein offenes Netz aus mit dem man sich ohne Internet verbinden kann. Sobald ich ein Passwort vergeben habe und auf weiter klicke (im nächsten Schritt müsste man den Repeater mit dem Host verbinden) bricht die Verbindung zum Repeater ab und das Netz ohne Internet taucht nicht mehr zur Verfügung auf. Ich habe es mit verschiedenen Geräten und auch mit einer LAN Verbindung probiert. Jedes mal bricht die Verbindung ab und das Signal des Routers ist nicht mehr auffindbar. Auch per Website statt über die Tether App erscheint genau das selbe Problem .
Ich weiß nicht mehr weiter. Wenn jemand einen Tipp hätte wäre ich sehr dankbar.

During the configuration, have you tried to tick "copy host SSID"?
If yes, I think after you input the password and click save, the SSID of RE365 has changed to be the same as the main router.
If possible, instead of following the quick set-up wizard, you could try to configure the RE365 under Wireless, such as:
But if that is not the case, It would be highly appreciated if you could record a video clip of the whole set-up process so that we could review what happened during the setup.

I dont no Where to get to the Option 'Wireless', like on your picture.
Put its not copying ssid.
I made a Video from the Installation over the Website tplinkrepeater net but i cant upload the mp4 movie so i made screenhots from the video.
Its the same like on the App Tether.
You can See how the Connection to the repeater get lost. (by the wifi signal on the corner of the phone)
When i disconntec the repeater from electricty and reconnect it i can log in with the password i gave the repeater in the first step, but then Nothing is possible. I can only start Searching for the Main host, but then the connection get lost again.

I think it is very likely the extender is broken.
You could test one more time to configure it into range extender mode via a wired laptop if possible, or set it up in Access Point mode:

If neither helps, I would suggest contacting local support to ask for warranty service.
