TP-Link Extender keeps rebooting
I have the specified device, It was working fine for many months, few days ago there was a power surge in the area after that this extender is behaving abnormaly, Following are details
- At first somehow it got factory reset by itself, no one did it.
- I Installed the android app "Tether" and was able to configure the device.
- After that it starts working properly, I unplugged it from that wall socket and moved it to different location
- On most of other sockets at home it keeps restarting.. LED(s) come up and then whole circle becomes blue and this keeps doing for ever.
- When I bring back to that socket it works again, then I tried on couple of other sockets, it works for sometime and then again abnormaly restarts
- Not sure what is happening, at first I was under the assumption that it is completely burnt due to voltage surge but for sure it is not the case as it is working on selected wall sockets.
- Wall sockets are absolutely fine and have strong grip (no loose connection) and all other devices (laptops, mobile charges etc.) works perfectly in those.
Any help is this regard is appreciated.
