Model: Archer VR1200
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.0 0.8.0 v600e.0 Build 190919 Rel.55271n

Hello, in an Archer VR1200 v1 00000001 router with Firmware Version: 1.0.0 0.8.0 v600e.0 Build 190919 Rel.55271, we changed the administration port to 8080 instead of 80 (internal access) and to 8443 instead of 443 (external access), and everything is working.

However, when activating the virtual server on ports 80 and 443 to the internal server, the server correctly responds on port 443 but not on port 80.

Both ports work from within the internal network, and the firewall is disabled on both the router and the internal network.

We upgraded the firmware to version 1.0.0 0.8.0 v600e.0 Build 220711 Rel.67869n, but with no result.

We also tried enabling the DMZ on the server's IP, but the outcome is the same, port 443 is working, while port 80 is unresponsive.

If we set up the virtual server from external port 82 to internal port 80, it functions properly.

However, we need to make port 80 accessible publicly.

Thank you for your support.

Alessandro

Hi, did you change the administration port for both local management and remote management?

Please share with us screenshots of your administration page and also virtual servers page, you could hide the login address when sending the screenshots

  @Tecnogest

Hello, thank you for your interest.

I am attaching the screenshots of the router.

The connection is through PPPoE on the GPON OpenFiber.

We have now installed a FritzBox, and it's working perfectly.

The same configuration was present on a TP-Link W9970 for the FTTC Fiber connection, which is now discontinued, and it was working smoothly.

On Monday, the client's office reopens and we couldn't wait to perform tests with the TP-Link VR1200.

Best regards Alessandro
