Dear All 

i purchased the DEco S7 Set of three  last month  .

since the second day  Two units got into the blinking mode  of Red  or white 

keeping them close to each other never solved the problem .

Wrote to  TP link US they responded with several tests but nothing could solve the problem .

I had intimated them about finding the high frequency Acoustic Chirping noise .

They guided the local India office to look into it .

The only Mantra They have is deliver the units to their " Shop" in one of the most crowded areas in the city !

They have no policy to replace ! nor even pickup the faulty Units .

Now it is a month , The only working Main  unit also failed .

it is observed that all the power supplies make a high frequency audible chirping noise .

now All three are DEAD  , too much 

The problem seems to be a Design Defect .

 

How do we ensure we will get a newer unit  after the sol called service .

 

Now for a month the units have not worked , we dont have the connectivity as promised .

it is a futile exercise to let the technical or sales team about these defects .

 

time we moved on to a better product

Hi, Have you tried to factory reset the unit by holding the reset pinhole for 1s before?

It is also suggested to run a firmware recovery on the Deco S7 to see whether it made any difference:

I am sure it is just a one-time issue as I haven't seen similar feedback here in the last 6 months on Deco S7.

As for the warranty details, It would be more helpful if you could tell the local representatives directly about your confusion and they will be able to provide more accurate information and be better equipped to assist you.
