Model: RE700X  
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.4 Build 20230509 Rel 78185

My Android phone can print to an Epson printer over Wifi if connected directly to the main router. If my smartphone is connected via the RE700X, the printer cannot be seen by the printer app. Anyone have any suggestions as to cause?

Hi, is the Epson printer connected to the host router via an Ethernet cable or by Wi-Fi?

Was the RE700x set to connect to the main network, not the guest network of the host router?

Are you able to connect a laptop to the RE700x, and then try to ping the printer on the laptop to check the communication:

1. The printer is connected to the router by WiFi, using the 2.4 GHz band.

2. The router does not have a guest network, so the RE700X connects to both the 2.4 and 5.0 GHz main networks on the router.

3. Pinging the printer works fine regardless of whether my smartphone connects directly through the router or through the RE700X. (I have a ping utility on my smartphone).
