Firmware Version: Latest

Hello!

I have a client that is searching for a mesh network system that can both :

Work well through many cement walls, and
Operate as a VPN Client

I am looking at the PX50 as it is clearly designed to be a solution for that first stipulation-

But I would like to know if the firmware has been updated to allow it to be a VPN client yet?

I see that David-TP said in March of this year in this thread that TP-Link has planned to implement vpn server support via firmware updates to various Deco models.

I am starting this thread in the hopes that this has already happened for the Deco PX50 (and vpn client support too, as I'm looking for).

Has it?

Deco PX50 with the latest firmware 1.2.1 does support VPN server and client.

A quick followup question -

Can you tell me about the processor that the Deco PX50 has? What is its speed in GHz, and how many cores it has?

I understand that running a vpn client does take a bit of processing power, and a router aught to have a healthy bit if it is to run as a vpn client or server without reducing bandwidth.
