Model: Archer VR400
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.5.0 0.9.1 v00a1.0 Build 220321 Rel.60385n

Just brought a new AC1200 to replace my older one and the upload speed is 9 Mbps rather than the 18Mbps I was getting on the older version. This is both on wired and Wi-Fi

Any ideas?

  @Sunshine Thanks for your reply.  Having played around with this for several days, in the end I dug out the old ISP modem, connected it up then put the AC1200 into "Wireless Router" mode and now it works fine with my upload speed back to around 18 Mbps.

No idea why the AC1200 didn't work well as a modem.

Hi, please share with us screenshot of DSL part on Advanced->Status page, and what is the download&upload bandwidth you paid for?

Is your old modem still with you now? and is the the same model?

  @BAV51

Thanks a lot for the update, maybe when it works as DSL modem router, the DSL rate is kind of slow for some reason, since you have solved the problem now by using wireless router mode, you could leave them on the current settings.

Hope you could enjoy the internet.
