Hello guys i currently have a mesh network using the AX58 Router with 2 RE550 and 2 RE220 to form the mesh however i need to extend it further as this only covers half my house. The issue is neither the RE devices signal reach the other side and my walls are 4ft thick.

So i bought the X50 (thinking they were poe which of course they are not). I was hoping to extend the network using an ethernet cable from the AX58 router and maintain the same seamless network. Is this possible.

  @Trevsmith

Hi, Thank you very much for your time and patience.

Deco X50 does not support POE but Deco X50-POE does.

Do you plan to connect all Deco X50 via Ethernet cables to the AX58 Router?

If yes, they would work well and you might need to set up into Access Point mode as well.

General questions about Ethernet Backhaul feature on Deco

If it is only the main Deco X60 and the rest units are still connected wirelessly to each other, I think the 4ft thick wall will also block most wireless signals.

Have you ever used any powerline adapters? If the whole house is under the same electric service panel, you could also consider Deco PX50.

Thanks a lot and wait for your reply.
