Looking for a good Wifi Extender to work with my Asus Wifi Router AC58U ?
Hello,
I have an Asus router the model number is AC58U and I am looking out for a good Wi-Fi Range Extender this is to be used in my home the area would be 600 square feet I am looking out for a Wi-Fi Range Extender which will give me stable connection and a very powerful connection without any interruptions and which is not very expensive, because my area of coverage is just 600 square feet. So which is the best Wi-Fi range extender that TP Link has that you would suggest me for my purpose please let me know?

Many Thanks for the suggestion are RE550 and AC1300 Dual Band Gigabit two different models ?
Also My current Main Asus Router is not a Mesh Router so does it makes sense to go for a Mesh Range Extender ? How does it help ?
Also is it true that with a Range Extender I can never get 100% speed of my Internet Subscription if using it Wirelessly without using the acces Point on the Range Extender ?
So what is the speed that I can expect from TP-LINK Extender Let's say if I have an Internet speed of 50 MBPS ?

Hi, AC1300 Dual Band Gigabit, I mean the wireless spec of Asus Wifi Router AC58U and RE550 is AC1900.
It would not help too much if the Asus router does not support Mesh while the extender does.
It is true that "with a Range Extender I can never get 100% speed of my Internet Subscription if using it Wirelessly without using the acces Point on the Range Extender".
The extender does not boost the speed and if RE550 is within a suitable Wi-Fi range, like 6-8 meters from the main router in clear sight, the expected 5GHz wireless speed would be 80-90% of the 5GHz wireless speed from the Asus at the same location.

Hi, thanks for getting back to me. It is a very good question.
I didn't find RE550 on the India official website, only RE500 which has been end of life.
In this way, I think we could switch to RE650 with a higher wireless specification than RE550.

You have oit me in a dilemma by suggesting the RE650 Range Extender the cost of this Range Extender which comes to around $80 USD is even higher than my main Router, I might aswell buy a new Router if I have to spend that kind of money just for the range extender. I can even after 5 years of my usage of the Asus Router that I have I can still within $80 USD get a very good mid range Router. So no I am not willing to spend that kind of money on an extender.
Anything which is cheaper than the RE659 and that still has a good feedback and customer response on real time usage. Something around 40-50 USD

Hi, I checked the available models on the India official websites. RE450 would be a good choice other than RE450+RE650 with 1G/s Ethernet port, the rest WiFi 5 extenders all have 1 x 10/100M Fast Ethernet Port.
