Could we please also have support for WireGuard as an option, given some of the benefits it presents over OpenVPN?

agreed. Would complete off their devices beautifully and solidify TP link devices as all rounders. Only the modders that want WRT support or even more config options would pick something else.

WireGuard is the gold standard and a necessary update! It's unacceptable to be going into 2026 without it.

Bought XE75 Pro because i read it supports wireguard.. only to find out it doesnt , open vpn is so slow.. its unusable , especially on my kids chromebooks

Really need WireGuard. Spent a whole weekend trying to figure out why my mesh router (Deco XE75) doesn't support it. Without it, getting 20Mbps on a 300Mbps connection. Frustrating thing is VPN works just fine on other devices. Come on, TP-Link, I know you have been adding WireGuard support in other regular routers for a while now.
