Hi all,

 

At the moment the recently released Deco PX50 only supports PPTP and L2TP VPN tunnel connections.

 

Is there any plans to add, or can we please request Wireguard and OpenVPN VPN tunnel options?

 

L2TP is very slow and very resource intensive on the Deco PX50 router, and PPTP is not secure.

 

Wireguard seems to be the most efficient option in terms of speed and resource usage.

There is indeed a plan to improve the VPN features on Deco. If possible, it would be highly appreciated if you could spend a little time to help us finish the following survey:

1).Wireguard is a newer vpn protocol used by e.g. Surfshark. might be a good idea to include that to make the product more interoperable. 2). it would be great if one could have multiple VPN tunnels at the same time with lists per tunnel. e.g. send my IOT devices to a specific VPN server, my TV to another VPN Tunnel, etc
