Hi, May I know the hardware version of your Deco M4? You could find it on the bottom label on the Deco, such as V2/V4.
I see you mentioned EU and it is very likely the 5GHz does not support band 4.
Thank you very much and best regards.

Hi, Sorry for the delay.
I think it does not support band 4/UNII-3 band If Dubai still has EU version. Previously, I knew that only band 4 of 5ghz is allowed in Bangladesh so both the software and hardware in BD are locally customized.
Thank you very much and best regards.

@David-TP My Deco M4 box pack mentioned UK(NII) after CE countries mentioned and also im from Pakistan and in my country only Band 4 channels are allowed to use 149-165 so the bangladesh beta firmware will work for me?

Hi, Sorry for the delay.
Maybe I should explain in this way:
Deco, despite its hardware version, the software download link is the same. So if you check the bin file's name from the official website, you will usually see EN/US/CA/JP/B4, etc.
The region code has been embedded into the hardware. After the firmware upgrade, it will match/abstract the proper region code to decide whether it should use Band 4 or 1 over 5GHz.
There isn't a customized official firmware for Bangladesh or Pakistan. It is the locally sold hardware that is different.
The existence of beta firmware is because, at the beginning of importing Deco M4, the band difference hadn't been identified, so a small part of the products needed to change the band via this special beta firmware. Later the Bangladesh hardware was renewed, and no beta was needed anymore.
Thank you very much and best regards.
