BE85 no 2.4GHz band
I've just got a BE85 1 pack today. I set it up from scratch (twice) but there is no 2.4GHz WiFi channel.
My WiFi scanner shows only 5Ghz
If I add my spare DECOx20 all my 2.4GHz devices can connect to it.
It looks as if it is faulty, so I'll be returning it to Amazon unless there's a fix....

Hi, welcome to the community.
If you enable the IOT network with 2.4Ghz only on a different SSID, are you able to detect the new SSID?
Have you tried to reset the Deco once before by holding the reset pinhole for 1s?
Wait for your reply and best regards.

@David-TP Thank you for your reply.
The BE85 has been setup from scratch again today, this has already been done three times so far.
I've had a two hour session with TP-Link Support but alas no solution has been found.
I also note that there are at least three other posts in this forum about this issue all appear to be unresolved.
I have enabled the IoT with a different SSID as you suggested but the IoT (2.4GHz) network SSID still does not show as seen below in my WiFi scanner.
Only the 5GHz band shows and my 2.4GHz devices do not connect, they do not find the 2.4GHz band in the DECO SSID so are unable to connect.
I have reconnected my two DECO x20 and all the SSID's now show correctly as follows
SSID DECO 2.4GHz & 5GHz
SSID DECO_IoT 2.4GHz
All my 2.4GHz devices are now connected to the DECO SSID and some to the IoT SSID.
So, I'm back on the DECO x20's for now.
Thanks for your assistance ....

Hi,
I'm sorry to report but I've returned the BE85.
I was hoping for a quick and trouble free switchover from my DECO x20's and everything was going well until the issues with the 2.4GHz connectivity.
I really wanted to replace my 10Gbps router and two DECO x20's with the BE85 but not to be this time.
Thanks for your assistance, I'll watch these forums and I hope that there's a solution soon.
