IoT network
Just set up a mesh network with 3 x Deco X50 great coverage and everything works fine on the Wi-Fi. Have tried adding Tapo P100 smart plugs to the Deco app both on main Wifi and IoT network but keep getting message saying firmware not supported update required. Puzzling as they work fine on the network and can control them with Tapo app but won't add to Deco.

It will be fixed along with the firmware upgrade of Deco X50 soon.
Currently, you could try to set up the Tapo P100 on the Tapo APP first. Once it is setup, it will be automatically displayed under the "Smart Home" of Deco APP.

@David-TP thanks for the reply. I already have numerous P100 sockets working fine on Tapo and look forward to the update so they work with Deco.

I have the same issue...
I've set up 3 XE75 Pro's connected to an Archer AXE75 router, in Access Point mode. I've turned off wifi on router, turned the IoT network on Deco and everything works fine.
However, when trying to connect smart bulbs/plugs in the Deco app I see the same message.
I can connect and control them via the Tapo app. If I connect to them to the IoT network, via Tapo app, they appear in the Deco app as connected to IoT network, but that's it. No control or anything.
I assume I just have to for a firmware update. Seems strange if this is the case, I would have thought the support would be there already considering how popular smart plugs/bulbs are these days

You are right that Deco XE75 Pro_V3 still needs a firmware upgrade before being able to be controller over Deco APP.
The new firmware 1.2.10 is in the releasing process now and It might be detected in the next few weeks.
