Has there any fixes known for the problem?

The problems varies randomly. I have multiple devices connected, all wireless.

The network location is fully clean from any other Wi-Fi RF emissions (2 km to nearest buildings), so it is sole Wi-Fi in the area.

All devices experience serious high ping's suddenly. It can be something example:

That spike in the latency will cause serious problems in the PC online games, as it will trigger severe packet loss and as well cause massive 300-500 ms peaks that you experience as freezes. Even when it doesn't look bad in the ping on those moments.

 

The web browsing is almost impossible as so much is dropped or delayed, that synced connections doesn't work.

And as well streaming video to TV from internet is not possible as it just triggers severe frame drops and buffering every few seconds.

 

This happens with single computer, or multiple computers.

Not tested with wire (as it is anyways impossible).

 

Re-Connect or reseting NIC etc doesn't help than few seconds.

And then suddenly everything can be just right (except those few ms looking spikes).

 

And when it goes bad, it is very bad.

 

Factory reset etc doesn't help.

Hi, is the 10.0.0.1 LAN IP address of the MR400?

 

Please try inserting the same SIM card into another 4G device or even smart phone(enable hotspot), then connect the same computer for comparison.

Yes, it is the MR400 itself.

The addresses below are defined LAN connections only by the standard and can't be used for any public routing to WAN.

  • 10.0.0.0/8 IP addresses: 10.0.0.0 – 10.255.255.255
  • 172.16.0.0/12 IP addresses: 172.16.0.0 – 172.31.255.255
  • 192.168.0.0/16 IP addresses: 192.168.0.0 – 192.168.255.255

 

Changing SIM card doesn't matter. It is perfection in all other mobile devices, as the connection problem is not in WAN, but only internal LAN side.

The router can't maintain a steady connection for some reason, similar to what was linked.

Hi, is it possible for you to connect a computer to the router via Ethernet cable and test the ping again for comparison? Which will narrow down the issue and confirm if only WiFi connections are affected.
