Tried to connnect my new deco X20 to the existing TP link router VX230v which I would expect to be easy, but the instructions are very unclear.

i managed to set the Deco up as a new network , but that seems incorrect as I want it to be part of the existing router network.

it can't be added as a mesh device as there is no WAP button and there is no alternative way .

ive tried plugging it in on an Ethernet cable but this doesn't allow router connection.

Really is very poor considering they are both from the same manufacturer , any help.

it would be good if the instructions were written in more detail. Any Ideas ?
