Hi All!

I would appreciate if anyone could confirm me my understanding is correct that the detachable antennas behind the router is "cellular phone antenna" and has nothing to do with transmitting/receiving WIFI signal to laptop/iPad.  If so, where is WIFI in router located? I believe that I may be able to boost router speed by upgrading cellular antenna to pick up a better cellular signal but how can I boost WIFI coverage from a router.  Your valuable advice would be appreciated.

Hi, what is the hardware version of your MR400? and is it EU version?

As you can see on TP-Link website, the MR400 V4.30 antennas are two external 4G LTE antennas, which are cellular antennas you mentioned. The WiFi antennas are inside the router itself, thus cannot be changed, and if you would like to extend the WiFi range, you could consider adding an access point or range extender.
