QA:

1. When will RE800BE be ready for purchase?
We currently don't have a specific release date for the RE800BE, but it could be expected in early 2024.
Usually, when it's ready for sale, online retailers such as Amazon will likely announce a pre-order date.

2. Does EasyMesh on the RE800BE support 6Ghz?
Yes. But please make sure the host router also supports EasyMesh on 6GHz. Currently, the following Archer BE products support EasyMesh on 6GHz.

Archer BE550_V1_1.0.5
Archer BE9300_V1_1.0.5
Archer GE800_V1_1.0.3

3. Does EasyMesh on the RE800BE support Ethernet Backhaul?
Not yet and It will be added via the firmware upgrade soon.

4. Does RE800BE support customizing its wireless SSID and password on 2.4/5/6GHz?
Yes, and it needs to be under standard wireless range extender mode. It will follow the wireless SSID and password under EasyMesh Mode.

  @David-TP

 Archer BE550 is also Wifi 7 router and can be used as an externder / mesh as OneMesh sattelite. Why would RE800BE be better than that setup? They probably have same hardware

  @AdnKhn

The BE550 is BE9300 rated whereas the RE800BE is BE19000 rated, over double the throughput.

Only down side is that it seems TP-Link refuses to step too far ahead of the competition and is holding off release, until maybe the rest start catching up, ie. ASUS...

  @mickhence  I understand that it's first WiFi 7 extender that is not a router too, but there are a bunch of WiFi 7  routers in the market that can be used as satellite mesh already. For example you can get two be800 and use one of them as a router and the other one as an extender/satalitte in a mesh system

  @AdnKhn I'm sorry but you wrong. You can't to use 2 of BE800 because I already ask to tplink consultant, you can use the second one only as AP, connected to the first one by ethernet port.

  @NoelCrook121 sorry but dont work between 2 be800 in wifi mode if you press wpa on the first one and then on the second, this one don't recognise the wifi network.

I repeat, tplink consultant told me this because this is not an extender, it's a router and the two modes are router or access point, no extender.

  @Renegade7805 No I am not wrong. BE800 does Easymesh. You can configure one as router and the other one as sat

  @Renegade7805 you are doing it wrong. You need to factory reset the second router and set it as satellite not as main router and turn on easymesh. You don't need to press wps buttons
