@Sunshine I know that it should be probably another thread, but ... could you suggest to engineers to add switch to turn on/off wifi? ;)

Hi, at this moment, we could only disable SSID broadcast but cannot disable WiFi function completely.

However, the MiFi device supports power saving mode by default, when there is no device connecting or using the WiFi for 10 minutes by default, the WiFi will be disabled automatically and you will need to press the power button to turn on the WiFi again, please confirm if the power saving mode meets your requirement or not.

@Sunshine Yes. I know about that, but my use case is (again) related to usb interface. When I use this router as RNDIS, and no wireless client connected , wifi is turning off after  some time, and there is no way to turn it on apart from restarting.

Hi, normally you could press the power button to re-enable the WiFi(I mean a short press instead of restarting the device) when it is in power saving mode, if it doesn't work, I will report this issue to our senior engineer as well along with the auto restarting issue.

@Sunshine "normally you could press the power button to re-enable the WiFi". Yes, indeed. I did not know that. So  ability to do it programatically would be nice, but I understand this is not important.
