Hi so I set up my new tp link Deco device and installed the app on my phone. I noticed there is security software which appears to be on a 30 free trial with an automatic renewal. How can this be I didn't sign up for anything and want to terminate but don't know how.

Please refer to the instruction here to cancel the subscription:

Q2. How can I cancel my HomeShield Continuous Subscription?

A. Android: Go to the Google Play app and enter “Subscriptions” in the sidebar, then find the TP-Link Tether/Deco APP. You may enter it and cancel the subscription.

iOS: Go to Settings and enter “Subscriptions” after logging into your Apple Cloud settings, then choose TP-Link Tether/Deco APP and cancel the subscription.
