Signal low?
Evening.
I know its not critical but I have just got my first TP Link 4G router - Archer MR600(EU) V1 and I'm cutious why it reports only 1 bar of 4G signal strength on the unit, however using the same SIM in my ZTE MF286D reports 5 bars of signal. I'm assuming the ZTE is displaying the strongest out of the combined signals and the Archer is reporting the average of the combined signals?
The router works great on LTE and I'm loving Onemesh!
Thanks

@amtrakuk I think I may have resolved my own issue.
Using cellmapper my mobile provider transmits LTE on band 1,3 and 20.
Learning the mr600 V1 doesn't support band 1 band 20 I thought I'd try the beta firmware 1.1.0_0.9.1_[200417-rel75138]_up_boot_2020-04-20_08.44.31 and setting channel 1 to band 20 > Save > then channel 2 to band 3 > save I got 4G+ with speeds at approx 30 MB/s download. It reported it was using bands 3 and 20 but refreshing the config page it slipped back to 4G LTE and band 3 only..
Assuming the holy grail of 4G+ wasn't going to work I went to restore the OEM firmware to find a firmware update. Installed the advertised firmware 1.2.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 200511 Rel.44954n allowing the router to reboot.
Remembered seeing the APN was set to "three.co.uk" not "3internet" as I expected, I created a new APN profile as below, note Manual Network Search, Network mode 4G only.
I'm now getting a reliable 4G+ connection with download speeds around the low 30Mb/s, I hope this helps anyone who is struggling with connecting to Three in the UK.

@amtrakuk I think the issue is partially the carriers fault. Three(UK) has been having a lot of issues with their network recently, it is showing 4G+ now and getting typically 23-30Mb/s download and 2 out of 3 signal.
