I just installed Deco XE5300 (3-Pack) from Costco tonight to replace my Orbi RBR750.  I'm no networking expert, but know enough to get everything hooked up and running.  What I can't understand is why the Deco app is showing horrible internet speeds, yet everything appears to be working great and my Speedtest.net is ~600mbps.

 

Hardwired to my laptop, I'm getting about 920mbps and I have 1Gig internet from Xfinity.  See the photos below and please help me understand!  Photo of the Deco app below and the Speedtest.

@TJAB The upload/download speed under "everything looks good" refers to the current internet activity, also known as "throughput".

 

It doesn't represent the "actual" internet speed

Just a M4 (2-pack) user who regrets buying it

  @ImtiazAli appreciate the reply. It's confusing coming from a different system. Is there a way in the Deco app to test your actual internet speed? Or simply use a third party app?
