Wifi extender RE200 not listed in the Wifi list
Hi,
I recently bought a Wifi router Archer AXE75. I then re-configured my Wifi extender RE200. Through the TP-Link web GUI, I can see the RE200 under Network Map > Mesh Devices, with status 'Connected'. However, when searching for the wifi name (i'm assuming it will have a suffix of "_EXT"), I could not find it. Using the mobile app Tether, I could see it in the list of Devices intermittently.
I tried to reset the extender a few times and re-do the setup, but I still could not find the extender name from the list of available Wifi connections.
Appreciate any help/guidance.

If you have connected RE200 in Onemsh with AXE75 you won't see "SSID_EXT" of the RE. Look for the RE200 here:

Hi @terziyski,
Thanks for your reply.
Yes, I could see the RE200 from Nextwork Map > Mesh Devices.
But my issue is, I could not connect to it as it is not available in the wifi list, neither on my computer nor my mobile devices. In this screenshot of the available Wifi on my mobile the RE200 is not available to connect with.
The extender is just about 5 meters away from the router.
What am I doing wrong?

Hi @terziyski ,
Thanks for your explanation. I was under the impression that when I search for the wifi name of the extender it will have a suffix of "_EXT". I have watched a Youtube video about it. I guess, it was wrong.
I'll keep my extender the way it is. I appreciate your help.
Cheers,

The video you've watched is probbaly not wrong. When connecting the RE200 whithout using Easymesh the extended network could be "SSID_EXT".

Hi @Yossy ,
There will no "_EXT". In one of the responses to me earlier, a mesh works in a way that it takes all the connections in one name. But you will notice that your connection range will be wider and farther. To test this... power off your extension. Go to a place within or outside your home/office where connectivity is not available or very weak or slow. Then move the extension near that area and turn it on. Once most of the lights turn green, try to connection again from the same spot you were at earlier. You will notice that wifi signal is strong and watching movies will no longer be buffering.
Hope this helps.
Cheers.
