Hello,

I have performance issues running Wireguard VPN between router and client on 1gbit connection I only able to achieve ~260mbit/sec transfer rate.

Looks like router using software only decoding - when I run iperf3 test I do see 90+% CPU load on router when using wireguard. If I open port on same target device run iperf3 directly bypassing wireguard - I'm getting about 800mbits between same devices with exactly same settings.

Anyway to improve it?

Hi @Mike243

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

Expected to be normal speed in a real network environment.

Speed test in our lab is 300Mbps or so.

There is no hardware acceleration for WG VPN.
