Hello, comunity

 

Current situation:

 

At home I have wireless router: TL-WR1043ND and, as extender, I have TL-WR710N.

 

Issue that I have:

extender is not working properly for some reason in the last mont. At the begining it worked properly, without any issue and I had decent wireless signal strength trought extender. Now I'm not able to get anymore signal. I have a concrete wall that signal of extender is suppose to pass.

 

Questions:

- do I need to buy another wireless extender?

- would you recommend a more powerful extender? Please give me an option

Hi, you could try to reset it to factory defaults and follow this guide to set up the repeater mode again: How to configure the Repeater Mode on the TL-WR710N

 

If it still doesn't work, since this model is quite old and you could consider purchasing a new extender by using filters to choose a proper model:

I've tried factory reset already without success, or is working properly but only for a short period of time.

 

From filter mentioned below, what you recommend?

 

I'm interested to buy best value for money, because I need only to extend for phone usage. No TV, no game station. Only multiple phones will use extended signal (3 to 5 phones)
