MLO network broken for s 24u after update
My router just updated today to the latest firmware version and it broke the mlo network for my S24 Ultra. Where is constantly dropping connection from it. I try rebooting, factory resetting and even a firmware downgrade, but I get an error.

1.1.5 won't work at all with S24U. It connects with 1.1.6, however 1.1.6 breaks MLO (clients roaming away from the router in a straight line and clear line of sight, hop directly from 6GHz directly to 2.4GHz without ever connectiing on 5GHz!!)

Is your router model also Archer BE800?
Are you saying the S24U will prefer to connect to the 2.4G network instead of 5G when roaming? During roaming, devices may automatically select a band based on the best available connection at that moment, which can sometimes lead to a preference for 2.4G.
Please be aware that the 5G frequency offers higher speeds and less interference but has a shorter range compared to 2.4G. It struggles more with obstacles, meaning its effective coverage area is typically smaller. When you're moving around, please check and ensure you're still receiving a good 5G signal from the router, otherwise, the phone would prefer to connect to the 2.4G with a better signal.

The latest update which is 1.1.6 Build 20240808 rel.26673 has fixed my issues. I recommend updating.

Hi Kevin,
Please see answers (inline) below:
Is your router model also Archer BE800? Yes
Are you saying the S24U will prefer to connect to the 2.4G network instead of 5G when roaming? Again, yes During roaming, devices may automatically select a band based on the best available connection at that moment, which can sometimes lead to a preference for 2.4G. Seems weird since there is much more traffic/noise in 2.4GHz then 5GHz, and the connection is line of sight. Not sure what would tip the balance for the alorithm? to choose 2.4. Indeed, it typically dos not seem to do that in 1.1.6. The problem with 1.1.6 is it doesn't play well with Samsung S24U.
Please be aware that the 5G frequency offers higher speeds and less interference but has a shorter range compared to 2.4G. Yeah, the handoff from 6GHz, to 2.4GHz, at approx. 40 Feet. Again, line of sight, no walls, glass, etc. to propogate through. It struggles more with obstacles, meaning its effective coverage area is typically smaller. When you're moving around, please check and ensure you're still receiving a good 5G signal from the router, otherwise, the phone would prefer to connect to the 2.4G with a better signal. Again, seems to be a lot better (not perfect) with 1.1.6 FW, - just need to fix the Samsung compatability issue.

Could you please provide more details about the issue you're experiencing with the Samsung S24U? As KidaT, this thread poster, has confirmed, he no longer encounters any problems with his device after updating to the latest version 1.1.6.
If you're still facing issues, sharing additional information will help us investigate further.
Regarding the Pixel 8 Pro, was there an error message when it tried to connect to the MLO network?
