Model: Archer C80
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.13.2 Build 230824 Rel.75032n(5553)

version is 2.20

I bought it to bridge my current wifi to use it as a repeater/extender. Lot of basic and cheaper routers have this functionality but im upset i cannot find wds feature in this. Am i missing something. This is almost standard now. Has anyone was able to make it work?

Have you looked at Advanced > System Tools > System Parameters. Here's the official guide for configuring WDS feature.

A while ago it was in the Advanced->Wireless->WDS.

If you still can't find the WDS feature it may has been deprecated for HW v2.20 - check this post.

Wds option does not exist. I checked million times. Honestly how dumb is this. If v1.5 has it why discontinue it in v2.20

Im running latest firmware. Is there a chance they might upgrade it and provide wds. If not i think i will get another new router from some other company which is clear about bridging or wds.

I really don't know the answer to this question but earlier in the same thread there's another post which offers a possible justification.

Yes I read it. But that again requires buying additional routers.

That's correct. Another option that you could use is the C80 AP mode (Case 1) but that involves additional cabling (if applicable).

Im using ap mode already but that requires additional cabling across the home. Which i wanted to avoid ans that why i needed extender/wds feature. Problem is mostly sellers also dont know what features router has so i bought the best one which he had in stock. And now i find out i should have something cheaper as they all with wds feature.

In AP mode you'll get better speed and connection stability for sure. But if you want to avoid cables, you can try replacing your C80 for C64 or C86.

On the top there is no advanced tab. Only Systems.

And when i click systems i dont find wds. I think v2.20 does not come with wds. I will have to wait for the firmware upgrade if they do provide with one otherwise i lost money on this.
