E9ED72 range extender failure to link to wifi
This has nothing to do with general products or the V1 hardware version - I just could not get through those gates as there is no reference to this link extender wehich is an E9ED72 AV200. Mine worked well for a year but now suddently stopped. It says it is connected to the wifi on my mac but it isn't in practice. Any ideas?

Hi, welcome to the community.
Do you use any powerline adapters from TP-Link?
Or could you please refer to the product label to locate the model number first, like RExxx, or TL-WAxxx?
Have you tried to reset it first and set it up again?
Thank you very much and best regards.

@Odgers02 I have tried endlessly to set and reset this one. It is plugged into a regular 13 amp socket with no other links or power supply

Hi, Thanks for the update.
TL-WPA281 is the powerline adapter and it works in pairs: the master main adapter is wired into the Host router, and the extender unit is just plugged into the power socket.
The Wi-Fi of TL-WPA281 is independent of the host router's Wi-Fi so if you are trying to pair them together.
How to set up TP-Link powerline adapters
Best regards.
