Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.2 Build 20230627 rel.39033(4555)

Hello,

Since I started using my AX58 router, I've noticed that the internet connection from an Android emulator is blocked. I'm using a Mac BookPro with Android Studio. If I connect to the Wi-Fi on my internet box router, I don't have this limitation.

Can you tell me which setting in the TP Link router is causing this limitation?

Thanks

Describe your network topology - what devices you have in your network (ISP modem/router, AX58, switches, how they are connected).

In which mode you use your AX58 - router mode or Acces point mode (this should be in Advanced=>Operation Mode if you log AX58 via web browser).

Do you have this issue only with the Android Studio app ? Anything else is working as expected ?

  hi @terziyski

Here is the network diagram

When I work on iOS with Emulator iPhone with AX58 wifi, no problem.

When my MacBook Pro is connected to the ISP's wifi emulator android works, no problem.

When my MacBook Pro is connected to AX58 wifi, emulator Android can't access to internet.

Previously I had a C80 with no problem. AX58 introduce a limit in his configuration.

Any ideas ?

From your description it sounds like the Androin Emulator on MacBook pro needs some tweaking.

Does your MacBook pro has internet connection and you can browse websites etc. ?

If that's correct and everything else works as it should (mobiles, TVs, etc.) it's logical to suspect the Android Studio.

I'm not sure about this analysis, I was using the C80 before and it didn't block the Android emulator. I wonder if the AX58 integrate a security feature that recognizes the Android emulator as a connected device.

Not sure about this. Do you use any of the Home Shield features. If you do try disabling all of them and check if there's any difference.

Other than that could be any security configurations on the AX58 that are not implemented on C80.
